Ashley at the front desk made us feel welcome when she checked in my friend and me, and her service really stood out. Later that night I saw her doing laundry, vacuuming the hallway on every floor, tidying the entrance, and cleaning the elevator, which I don’t see often at other hotels. The property has been cut back to the lowest brand standard and doesn’t provide amenities, but Ashley made our stay a great one. I wish my other front desk experiences had been as good. We were in town for work, and I’ll stay here again and recommend it to my coworkers.

We’ve been here since August 2026 and booked through February 2027. The rate is good, we like our room, the bed is comfortable, and the air conditioner and heater work well. Having a full-size fridge and stovetop is handy, and it’s great that we can get mail here. The hallways and laundry area are clean, though the grounds are overrun with weeds and need a new lawn service. Inside, the carpet needs shampooing because our white socks turn black quickly. There’s no bathroom fan, which drives me nuts, and we also have a leaky faucet and a burned-out bulb. Most staff treat us respectfully and professionally, but Ashley at the front desk could use hospitality training. The technology is slow, so paying for the week takes forever. Staff have entered our room without notice, which is illegal, and we don’t feel secure. We put the deadbolt on while we’re in the room. The TV also goes out often during storms. Cassandra hasn’t been GM long, but she’s trying her best to improve the place. We’re still grateful to have our room.

I left without staying because the night employee was so rude and unhelpful. This isn’t a normal hotel, it felt more like a dump, and I’d never spend my money here. Avoid it.

I called about reserving a room for a week with my two ESA dogs. They wanted to charge $75 per dog, per day, plus tax, whether or not they’re ESAs. That would cost even more than the room per night. Ridiculous. I won’t stay at that price.
