Americas Best Inn & Suites Arlington, Tx

My friend and I booked this motel months ahead, back in December or even earlier. When we arrived, it had changed its name from Days Inn, and the staff said our reservation wasn't there because of the change. They were rude, kept saying no when we tried to explain, and talked about us in Spanish. They claimed they only take walk-ins, which doesn't make sense when you can book online. I wouldn't book here again. They might tell you the same thing.

It was fine, and there's a shuttle. The desk staff were helpful and our room was clean. I just wanted a decent night's sleep, not a Holiday Inn, and this did the job. I'd come back.

America's Best Inn and Suites had been bought and renamed before our arrival. I booked two nights through Expedia, but they only had a reservation for one. The woman at the desk said they were full for the whole weekend and had nothing available. I had to pull up the booking on my phone to show her it was for both nights.

It's an okay place to stay. If you're after a Holiday Inn, then go there. The pool here is cleaner, and the internet and TV are good. The monthly rate is a little over $1000. My one real downside is that weekly and monthly guests can't use the pool on Saturday or Sunday evenings because of parties and daily guests. There may be the occasional druggie or prostitute here, but that's true at the Holiday Inn too. I've stayed at both. Front desk staff Cynthia and Rena are pretty nice. The cleaners try hard, though there just aren't enough of them. It's tough to find good employees who want to work. Thanks for trying.
