The new owners seem like very nice people, and the place is getting fresh paint and a cleanup. You can choose pavement or grass, it’s very quiet, and the price is hard to beat anywhere in town. The outside neighborhood isn’t the best, but who’s to judge? I think you should give them a chance.
It’s very hood, and you’ll see all kinds of people around. The gas station right next door has the best cheap food ever, though. The shrimp poboy was loaded with shrimp and as long as both thighs put together!
The place itself isn't much to look at, and the general quality is lacking. Still, Ivan, the park manager, and the local cats made up for it with good company.
Railroad tracks run behind this run-down place, and it didn't feel safe to me. Some people staying there seemed like they might be dealing with drug addiction or living there long term.
It's basically a parking lot with hookups, not an RV park. The sewage smell was bad enough that I won't stay there again.
