Tanesha was gracious and incredibly helpful as we worked through one room problem after another. The first room smelled of smoke, so she immediately offered a fresh-smelling one. Its A/C wasn't working, and the engineer had left ten minutes earlier, so she arranged yet another room. Even with the trouble getting settled, we'll come back because of the service ethic here.

Julia at reception was especially helpful, and the staff were good to us. The rooms, though, are badly in need of upgrades. Our bathtub was chipped and patched poorly, wallpaper was peeling in several places, and a staple was even holding it up. The hallway to the rooms smelled horribly moldy. For what we paid, it felt like a major rip-off. Unless there's a major remodel, I won't stay here again or recommend the place.

The room was clean, and the bistro had good food and service. Staff were very friendly, too. It was easy to reach the hotel from the interstate, but far enough away that road noise wasn't a problem. The bed was pretty hard, and the room could use updating, but I'd have no problem staying here again next time I'm passing through.

The room itself was fantastic, and the location is great, but the experience was ruined by Reggie at the front desk. We arrived completely drained from travel, and he was profoundly rude, hostile, and unhelpful. He acted like doing his job was a burden. It also took hours before we could get into our room. Someone with such poor customer service shouldn't be the face of the business. Reggie's service alone is why this gets such a low rating.
