Days Inn Arlington

The recent renovations give the hotel a clean, modern look, and the bed was comfortable. Still, the walls were so thin we could hear every conversation, and the place felt like a Motel 6 despite looking nicer. The price was decent, but I think spending a bit more on another option would make for a better stay.

We spent two days here, and the staff were professional and helped me print some documents at the last minute. They also worked with us on extending the stay and adjusting checkout to fit our flight times. The rooms looked freshly renovated and were well kept, with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. It’s near gas stations, food, car washes, USPS, and other conveniences. Very nice and extremely affordable. Thanks to the staff!

We couldn’t stay because the room posed a health risk for the two toddlers with us, who have asthma. There were bugs, pubic hair in the bed, torn furniture, filthy light switches, a dirty towel on the floor, splatters on the ceiling, and a smoke smell. The front desk gentleman was kind and understanding, and offered to move us to another room. We chose a different hotel instead, but unfortunately they won’t refund us.

The room itself was okay, but a big reddish-brown stain on the upholstered chair, possibly blood or something else, made the whole stay feel uncomfortable and dirty. The hotel needs to make changes or business will start to dwindle. The breakfast was a small chewy bar and coffee, and the place wasn’t very neat. There’s no elevator, so you have to take the stairs, and the hallways are old and run down.
