Breakfast was included and was a substantial meal, with Mery, who’s worked there for 26 years, and Lola, who’s been there for five, both making us feel welcome. Our suite was clean and comfortable, and Olivia worked around our schedule for housekeeping. Kevin, the general manager, checked in with us at the evening reception and over breakfast to see if we needed anything. We spent four nights here, and the team made a real effort to make the stay go smoothly. Alexis checked us in quickly and with a smile, then greeted us by name later that day. When we found the battery in our room safe was low, Helen at the front desk arranged an immediate repair and also helped us check out. My wife and I were genuinely impressed by the service and the value, so I wanted to mention the people who made the difference. We’ll definitely return.

Getting to the hotel was easy thanks to the courteous driver on the complimentary shuttle. Once I arrived, FNU gave me a warm welcome and was kind and helpful throughout my stay. After a long day of travel, Alexis was a real breath of fresh air at check-in. She treated me like royalty. My room was perfectly clean, smelled fresh, and had plenty of towels. Breakfast was just as well cared for, and the omelet cook made an amazing one. Everyone on staff was friendly. The Crystal City stop on the Metro is also a comfortable walk away. I’ll gladly stay at this Embassy Suites again when I’m back in the area.

The breakfast was wonderful, and the team serving it was welcoming and attentive. My visit got off to a great start at the front desk, where Alexis greeted me with a warm smile and useful tips about the area. She went out of her way to make the stay special. It was the best customer service I’ve had in DC, and I’ll come back on future business trips.

The location is good, the hotel looked nice, the rooms are a decent size, and breakfast was great. I just couldn’t bring myself to eat after other guests showed me pictures of roaches in their rooms. One of them had been moved to the room next to mine. My own check-in was alarming. I was sent to the wrong room first, and there was another guest in the second room I was given. It was one of the most awkward things that’s happened to me, and I felt lucky I didn’t get punched or worse. By the third room, I was locking every door and carrying all my important things with me whenever I left because I was afraid someone else might be assigned my room. The bar and food service was poor too. I ordered a drink and got a flatbread pizza. After I corrected it, they gave me someone else’s food order. I eventually got a drink, but it was the wrong one. I was tired of sending things back, so I kept it anyway. It was good, at least. Service here is terrible, and I don’t recommend staying. Edit: the heat kept running nonstop even after I turned it down.
