Rodeway Inn Arlington

We had a reservation for 8 days, and you'd think they'd treat us better. The rooms aren't worth the price, in my opinion, and the staff were rude. Their unprofessional behavior came from their own failure to communicate among employees or owners. Really disappointing for a hospitality business.

The housekeeping staff were great while we were there, but the rest of the stay was a bad choice. The website says breakfast, but there wasn't any, and there is no pool at any time of year. The front desk wasn't helpful. We had to ask for roach spray on the first night, with gnats and roaches in the room. It was supposed to be non-smoking, yet every time we came back, all we could smell was smoke. We know where we won't stay on our next trip.

The room had stains on the towels and bedding, no soap for washing hands, and a roach on my bed when I came back after a long evening. It was supposed to be non-smoking, but the bed had smoking stains and burns. There was no hot water in the shower, and trains ran at all hours, so it wasn't quiet. The building for the restaurant was there, but the restaurant was closed. The listing promised a pool, hot tub, gym, breakfast, coffee maker, views, vending machine, and common areas. None of those were there. It called itself a hotel online, but this was clearly a motel, and a bad one. The pictures made the place look great. I'm sorely disappointed and mad I paid $150 for such a terrible stay.

Roaches, gnats, and flies, no soap, and no hot water in the sink. There was a hole behind the bathroom door, and it smelled of mold and mildew. Even the toilet paper had stains. Trains went by all night long! I only booked because of the price. This was the most disgusting, deplorable place I've stayed, not even two stars. I hope I never have to come back. I would've left, but the booking was non-refundable.
