Michael is always a pleasure, and the breakfast is amazing. I’ve now stayed at The Ira Allen House twice, and I plan to come back. It’s a lovely historic inn with wonderful service.

Kevin and Michael are very kind and go out of their way to make your stay terrific. They offer helpful ideas for things to do and places to eat, and cook five-star breakfasts. The inn is near plenty of activities, and I highly recommend staying here.

Michael, the owner, runs a wonderful BnB in a beautiful historic home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it’s worth staying here.

There were six of us, three couples, and we had a fantastic time at the Ira Allen House B&B in Sunderland, VT. My sister in law Pam R. had been nudging my wife and me for several years, and we finally made it. Michael welcomed us warmly and was very gracious. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable, and the chocolate chip cookies in the main room were a lovely touch. The house has so much history, and the living room, especially with the bear, was my favorite. The drive up was amazing, and the location was wonderful. Michael made us an amazing breakfast, with fresh skyr yogurt from local farms, plus eggs and waffles. Thanks to Michael and Kevin. It’s a great place to stay.

The breakfast is first rate, served to your table in courses, and the inn is near Hildene, Mount Equinox, and plenty of other fun day trips. Mary and I have stayed at the Ira Allen House several times. It’s a charming historic place, and Kevin and Micheal are friendly, personable hosts who keep the inn lovely.
