We wanted an outdoor wedding venue where we could celebrate from Friday through Sunday morning. After checking places around CT, MA, and VT without finding one we loved, we found West Mountain Inn and knew it was the one. In late summer, it was stunning: a classic New England bed and breakfast, a flower garden behind the ceremony spot, and mountains in the background. We got lucky with perfect weather and held the welcome party, ceremony, cocktail hour, and farewell breakfast outside. Still, the range of indoor spaces was a big plus. If the weather had turned, we wouldn't have been stuck using just one room like at some of the other venues we toured. The food all weekend was incredible. We had a buffet dinner and hors d’oeuvres, breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, and woodfired oven pizzas at the welcome party. Guests especially loved the scallion street corn pie!! Amie, the owner and coordinator, is a huge part of what makes the Inn such a good wedding venue. She clearly loves helping couples bring their dream weddings to life. As day-of coordinator and the contact for our vendors, she made the decisions feel easy and straightforward. She was responsive, professional, patient, kind, and accommodating. She and the Head Chef helped us plan food for guests with different allergies, and worked with the bar on our off-menu signature cocktails and a mocktail. Her two very well-behaved golden retrievers, Milo and Pepper, were a hit with kids and adults. Another lovely surprise was the supply of decorations from past weddings, including chalkboards, table numbers, card boxes, and seating displays. That cut our DIY work down to almost nothing. We only rented drapes for the barn. Now West Mountain Inn is a special place we can come back to over the years. Choosing it was the best decision we made while planning, and we'd recommend it to anyone.

The crew at dinner had such great energy, and the dining experience was five stars. The barn was gorgeous too. I'd love to come back in spring or summer and experience more of the place's magic.

We had a lovely winter wedding weekend at the West Mountain Inn. The rehearsal dinner, wedding, and Sunday brunch all took place on the WMI grounds. Everything looked beautiful, the facilities were as expected, and the staff were extremely helpful. The bride says Aimee, the owner, is the GOAT!

I got married here in October 2025, and West Mountain Inn and its staff were wonderful. Amie and her team made planning much easier, and they didn't miss any details. The grounds and the Inn are beautiful, and it was so fun having so many of our guests stay right there with us. I'd highly recommend it for a wedding or a vacation in beautiful VT!
