Arnold Meadowmont Lodge

We’re full-time RVers, and every so often we take the jeep out for a few days to enjoy the local area. Arnold had plenty for us, from hiking and a bistro to friendly people and a place to stay. Life in a 40x11 is fun, but it’s nice to get away from it sometimes. Arnold Meadowmont Lodge turned out to be a great choice. The room was clean, check-in was easy, and meeting Heather and Bear was lovely.

Sightseeing and hiking around the area was easy from the Meadowmont Lodge, and it was a comfortable spot to come back to and relax. Our room was quiet, clean, and nicely updated. Heather, the owner, was attentive throughout our four-night visit, and communication was excellent from beginning to end. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and would gladly stay again or recommend it to others.

Big Trees Park is only about a five-minute drive away, so Meadowmont was a great base for our trip to see the big trees. My boyfriend and I had a really enjoyable stay. The room was spacious, and the property is well cared for. There’s also a fire each night where you can roast marshmallows.

The outdoor area was a favorite for us. Complimentary hot cocoa was a nice treat in the cold, and you can get s’mores packs for a small fee to enjoy by the open fire pits. Roasting marshmallows with my kids became a special memory, and the place felt relaxed and family-friendly throughout. Our room was clean, cozy, and set up with what we needed. It had a mountain-lodge feel while still being practical for a family, and the property is clearly well maintained. The front desk woman was warm and helpful from the start, and my kids loved chatting with her. She made them feel at home. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived and would return on our next trip to Arnold.
