The room hadn’t been cleaned, and there were bits of broken glass on the floor. Cigarette odor lingered despite the nonsmoking policy. The mini fridge barely kept anything cold, and neither the TV nor the Wi-Fi worked.

I wouldn’t recommend booking here. The place looks old and needs renovating, and there was an odd smell that made it uncomfortable to stay in. The photos also feel misleading. For this price, I’ve stayed in much better places with similar rates.

The one real plus is the location, near the freeway and mall. Inside, though, the floors were sticky and there were dead cockroaches around the room. They’d left only towels, with no hand soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Wi-Fi was so bad I had to use my hotspot to watch Netflix. I wouldn’t come back.

The housekeeper was the bright spot here. She was incredibly friendly in a dark, dingy place, and it was quiet. The man with the gray head who was working nights with James on Oct. 27 was mean and rude. I couldn’t make out their Wi-Fi password from the sloppy writing, so I asked whether it had capitals or underscores. He said, “That password works for everyone but you.” Completely unnecessary. Please see the video. Room 265 was really clean, but the cockroaches need to be dealt with. There was a sticky, Coke-like substance all over the shutters, kitty litter around the closet, and only one sheet on the bed. They offered another room, but it was worse, so I took the blanket from room 264 and moved it to room 265. The window was broken and wouldn’t open, and there was no hot water. Cold showers suck. The back-up plan for watching TV was a hotspot, but they wouldn’t help me set one up because I didn’t know how to use it. It felt safer to go camping. There were cockroaches everywhere, and I spent $600 to clean your room. How do you have a 3.7 rating? If you stay, ask for room 265, though they’ll need to tent the place to get rid of the roaches. I’ve never seen such a filthy place. O.S.H.A. is closed because of the government shutdown, but I’ll contact BBB. You’re giving people rooms in this condition and you know it. This place needs to be condemned. I know the motel will probably respond, “We’re so sorry we didn’t meet your expectations.” Save it. Clean your motel.
