Olde Town Arvada is only a short walk away and lively every day, and the place sits neatly between Denver and the mountains. I lived at the Dragonfly for a year and felt at home from the first day. The owners kept making us feel welcome and comfortable, almost like family. The apartment was cozy and well maintained. I couldn’t have asked for a better place, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming home. Thanks for making my time there unforgettable.

The Hummingbird apartment was a perfect fit for our trip from FL to see my son graduate, and it was far better than hotels or house rentals we’ve had before. The innkeeper had thought of everything to make us comfortable. I loved the decor and all the little extras, and the renovation of the home clearly spared no expense. It was a pleasure staying there. I wish my own home had all those comforts. I’d rent it again for sure if I’m ever back.

We spent two weeks at the Dragonfly, and it was even better than the photos. The decor had lovely special touches, the furnishings were impressive, and the beds were soft and silky. The quiet creek and park across the street made it a lovely place to come back to after daily trips to Revive clinic for PTSD. Beth was attentive, quick to respond, and a delight. She had thought of everything, including good coffee, teas, and chocolates. Groceries, great dining, Wal-Mart, and everything else were close by, and the airport was easy to reach by rental car. You’ll love it.

We had a girls weekend in the Hummingbird and found the location perfect. It’s quaint, with a small kitchenette that had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the pull-out was good too. The owner was helpful and a pleasure to work with. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.

The Hummingbird is a cute, comfortable, updated small apartment in an adorable Victorian home. The stairs are steep going up, but it’s worth it. The owners go out of their way to help guests feel at home. Hands down, it’s the best place I’ve stayed away from home.
