If you don't care about good service or getting a late checkout, this hotel is okay for the money. CHEAP. We checked in with the family around midnight, and my 4 year old found a spider under her pillow. Even after I showed the front desk the photo I'd taken, he basically called me a liar. I asked for checkout at noon and was told 11:30 was the latest because the housekeepers wanted to go home.
The room felt sticky and smelled musty when I checked in April of 2014. The A/C or fan obviously hadn't been running for a while, and the rooms are VERY outdated. I feel sorry for anyone there in warm weather. The internet was a joke: eight WI-FI connections appeared, seven showed "BAD" signal, and the one marked "good" would never connect. I only stayed because it was midnight and I had to be at a customer site by 8 am. The complimentary breakfast IS NO breakfast, just stale doughnuts, warm milk, and coffee, which was the only bright spot. Staff weren't friendly. The check-in clerk barely spoke, and at checkout the clerk took my key and walked away, with no thank you or anything. Awful doesn't even begin to describe it.
After driving all night, we spotted the sign and stopped. The front desk lady was really nice and checked us in. Our room was very clean, with no bugs, holes, or anything. There are some swings outside, too. A very nice stay for a very good price.
I had to leave and find another hotel after spending about an hour unable to connect to the internet. I'd told the manager I needed internet, and he assured me it worked. When I asked for a refund, that manager had already left and the woman at the desk refused. This place is nasty and they're rude!
