Hampton Inn & Suites Asheville Biltmore Area

We had a small issue with kids thundering down the stairwell next to our room. I mentioned it to the front desk and never heard another peep. There was a baseball team staying that night, so I’m sure it was those kids. The other days were very quiet. The neighborhood was nice, with Tanger outlet mall and plenty of places to eat nearby. Our room was clean, quiet at the end of the hall, and the bed was very comfortable. We’d picked a room but I don’t think we got the one I wanted, though this one was just as nice, in the same location on the opposite side. I only missed having the bed made and fresh towels each day. Requesting towels every day is a hassle. If the sheets stayed on the bed, I’d be fine without room cleaning service. The front desk was friendly. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast, eggs, biscuits, and fruit, so no complaints there. We had a wonderful stay, would definitely come back, and recommend it.

We brought the kids for New Year’s Eve to see the lights at the Arboretum, and they loved the pool. The rooms were clean, and I liked the fitness center with its really new equipment. This is a very clean, modern Hampton Inn close to lots of things in Asheville. The one letdown was breakfast. It was meant to run until 10 AM, but at 9:20, when we asked, they said they were out of oatmeal, muffins, and several other things. That was kind of ehhhh for New Year’s morning. Still a great hotel. I’d stay here for work and plan to come back.

Nate at the front desk sorted things out when we arrived around 9PM on Saturday. We were traveling from SC to OH and somehow our Embassy Suite reservation hadn’t gone through online, but he got us set up. The suite worked perfectly for all of us. We spent 30 mins in the pool before bed, and it was amazing. The hotel looked fairly new and updated, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was good, as usual for Hampton Inn, and the strawberry waffle mix was new to us. We’ll make a point of staying at this one the next time we travel through.

Darrell was great, friendly, and helpful, and the rest of the staff were helpful too. The breakfast bar was my only disappointment. At 6:30 am there was no fruit, yogurt, or pastries. Don’t count on breakfast here.
