Candlewood Suites Wichita Northwest by IHG

The room had everything you'd need for a longer stay, including a full-size fridge, microwave, burner, sink, dishes, cups and utensils. It was clean, spacious and updated, and the manager was easy to reach. I called as instructed to say I'd arrive after 9 and asked that my room not be canceled, and there was no problem. I was only there overnight on New Year's Eve. My only complaints are that there's no airport shuttle or breakfast. They do have coffee and a snack area with frozen meals and snacks.

The bathroom wasn't really accessible: there was one grab bar and a detachable showerhead, but mounted, it couldn't reach above chest height. I had booked a roll-in shower, as I always do, and instead got a tub. The hotel apparently doesn't have any roll-in shower rooms, despite what its booking website says. I asked them to correct the listing, but they haven't. The room was dirty too. There was food in the chair and on the floor, an unknown sticky substance made the curtain stick to itself, and adhesive left on the kitchenette counter has turned into a rectangle of filth. The staff here were amazing and would go out of their way to help with anything. My room was very clean, the shower was great, and I felt at home. I travel for work, and this has been my favorite place to stay.

My Father was sent here after a different hotel he'd been given because of work on his apartment turned out badly. The difference was huge. This place felt clean and safe, the room was wonderful, and it has a laundry room plus a little snack store.
