Wilbraham Mansion

Doug and Chris were wonderful hosts, and the booking process was just as good. We loved the well prepared breakfasts and staying in this charming historic home.

The pool was a fun surprise. We nearly had the indoor pool to ourselves, and it goes down to 7-8 feet, which is rare and a nice option when the ocean is too chilly. Most people might skip it with the ocean nearby, especially if their suite has a jacuzzi, but we were glad to have it. Our suite’s jacuzzi was the highlight at night, a relaxing way to wind down after long days. We stayed in Suite 301 at Wilbraham Mansion for our minimoon from 8/30-9/1. The staff were welcoming and kind, and breakfast was a treat every morning. Afternoon tea was lovely, too, with brownies one day and delicious blueberry cake another. Parking was convenient. We sometimes parked on the street and always found a space, right next to a CVS for any last minute needs. Beach chairs and bikes were available to borrow, making it easy to explore. We loved returning to our cozy suite after a full day out. The place had everything we needed, and we’d happily recommend Wilbraham Mansion and come back.

The Wilbraham Mansion’s indoor pool was a lovely place to return to, and our room’s jacuzzi was fantastic. The weather was mostly overcast or misty and rainy, but it didn’t dampen our time together, thanks in large part to the beautiful B&B and friendly staff. My wife and I felt well cared for. The rooms are clean and tasteful, and breakfast was delicious. We could walk to the beach and Washington Street shopping, and Wilbraham Park is right across the street, a beautiful little spot for reading or enjoying time together. We also liked walking around the area and along the scenic paved promenade to decompress and take in God’s creation. The Cape May Zoo, which is free and one of the best we’ve visited, the lighthouse, and many other attractions are a short drive away. We highly recommend the Wilbraham Mansion for a visit to historic Cape May. Five stars.

We loved our stay here! Breakfast was delicious, and there’s a heated pool, bikes, coffee, tea, and pastries available all day. Restaurants and businesses are within walking distance.
