Chris was friendly and full of helpful information, and the breakfast was phenomenal. He could be a five-star chef! The B&B was cozy and clean, just five minutes from the Biltmore and two minutes from downtown. We were there for the owners' second wedding anniversary. When we come back to Asheville, choosing where to stay will be easy.

We really enjoyed hearing about the house and the neighborhood's history. We were at North Lodge for our 30th anniversary, and Chris was a gracious host. He adjusted breakfast for our dietary needs and shared helpful suggestions for visiting Asheville. The house itself was amazing, and the breakfasts he made were wonderful. We'd highly recommend staying here and will definitely return.

Chris really pampered us, and his gourmet breakfast each morning was amazing. North Lodge is beautiful, comfortable, and clean, with the most comfortable pillows I've ever had. We stayed 12/30-1/1/25 and would highly recommend it. It's less than a mile from Biltmore, which is handy if you're visiting, and Chris knows the area well and is happy to suggest restaurants or answer questions.

We stayed in the Marsh room on the top, third floor, which felt especially private. The bed was extremely comfortable, and Kevin and David were warm, entertaining, and down to earth. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, and the hosts were very accommodating. Some of the house feels dated, but it's 118 years old, and that adds to its charm. We'll be back when we need a place in Asheville.
