Quality Inn & Suites Biltmore East

The staff were very nice, and the hot breakfast was good, though it was the same every day: instant eggs and biscuits with gravy. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the Biltmore, and the rooms are what you’d expect from a Quality Inn. Our sheets were clean, but the comforter had cigarette burn holes in it. The room layout wasn’t easy to adjust for our dog crates, but we managed. The bathroom was medium-sized and worked for two adults at once. It wasn’t a great stay, but the price was good, and I’d come back.

Just so you know, the rooms are set up with either one king bed or two doubles. They advertise sleeping four, but two double beds feel a bit cramped. The rooms were clean, though they had a funny smell.

We stayed here for a concert at the Cove. The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice and hot. There was construction going on, and the treadmill wasn’t working, but I’d stay again if Priceline had a great price.

We come here when we have appointments at Charles George VA Hospital, and we travel a fair distance to get here. I really appreciate that the hotel offers veteran rates and accepts the VA lodging voucher. If you think you may qualify for one, ask your doctor or clinic staff to help you get this travel perk. You need to pick up the voucher in the emergency room. The front desk staff are friendly and very helpful. The decor could use updating. Breakfast has the usual hot and cold choices, waffle makers, and a juice bar. The coffee is better than at some other hotels.
