OYO Hotel Jackson South I-55

I’d paid for my room in advance, but when I got there at night the office was shut. I called the number for problems and was told they don’t check anyone in after 10 PM. They knew I had already paid, but didn’t care, and then ignored my calls. I was left outside. There were some suspicious people in the parking lot, apparently staying at the hotel. When I tried asking them about the place, they threatened me for no reason. I managed to get away, then contacted my booking provider to explain what happened and get my money back.

I booked a room through Priceline and was told when I arrived that they don’t accept Priceline, even though it’s still listed on the website. They took my money and won’t refund it. Priceline has been trying to reach them, but those Jew Man in Jacksonms have made it difficult to get my money back for over two months. They’re just stealing people’s money.

Since Jay took over, the staff at OYO have done a great job turning the property around. Katt, Scotty, and the cleaning crew are professional and go out of their way to help guests feel comfortable. There’s always someone on site, 24/7, to deal with questions or needs. Keep up the good work, staff!

The online photos don’t show what this place is actually like. The floor was gritty, the bedding looked dirty, and there was trash behind a bedside table. The microwave was filthy and rusty, and the fixtures were rusty too. A wall outlet was broken, the shower handle didn’t work, a drawer was busted and missing, and there were open bulb sockets. The TV had no remote. I took plenty of pictures in case proof is needed. Avoid this place.
