Earth Inn Motel

We found this place at 3 a.m. while driving from Wyoming to Chicago and needing sleep. The woman working was super accommodating and made an exception for us, even though they normally don't accept guests after 11 p.m. It's a MOTEL, with basic amenities, but it has a cute vintage 1970s feel and was cleaner than any other motel I've stayed in. The bed and pillows were comfortable, there were no odd or smoky smells, and the comforter smelled nice, so you could tell they wash them. It was very quiet. The building is literally built into the side of a small hill, and there are historical pictures of the building in the hallways. We'd definitely stay again!

I arrived with a reservation, but nobody was at the front desk. There were no cars in the parking lot whatsoever. I had to call a number, then wait another ten minutes for a woman to come out and help me. She told me there were no rooms available, even though I had a reservation, the website usually showed vacancies, and a sign in the window said rooms were available. This place is horrible.

The room was so inviting and smelled clean when we walked in. I fell asleep quickly in the very comfortable bed, with nice-smelling sheets and blanket. The bathroom and shower were roomy, too. I absolutely loved this unique motel, built into the ground so the windows look out from ground level. The woman at the front desk was so kind to fit us in at the last minute. You can tell everyone does a wonderful job. Keep it up, and I highly recommend staying here when traveling through!

I wouldn't recommend staying here. There was no microwave, cable, air conditioning, or toilet paper, the window had no screen, and the curtains came off the wall. The toilet kept running. Then they charged me $200 for damage because the curtains fell. This place is a joke, with poor remodeling, and should be shut down.
