Peter at the front desk turned a rough weekend around for us. He was amazing when we arrived, and helped make Saturday evening great, too. This morning we spoke with Brittany and ended the weekend on a lovely note. We're grateful to this hotel for having some of the best employees and staff I've seen in a long time. We'd planned to stay at the Clarion on Friday, but the whole hotel was under construction and smelled of marijuana and cigarette smoke, including our room. We couldn't stay there, and the manager agreed to refund us for the inconvenience. That's how we ended up here.

Whenever I'm passing through, I look forward to staying at the Econo Lodge. The crew is wonderful, always ready to help, and the service and friendly atmosphere make it a favorite of mine. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spectacular for the price. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance, too. I'd recommend stopping for a good night's rest at the Econo Lodge by hwy 45 next to McDonald's.

The staff brought such positive energy and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We had an amazing time, and our room was clean and neat. I like it here and will definitely come back.

Traveling alone as a woman, I found the owner's behavior especially uncomfortable. He kept following me around and staring in a way that felt unsettling. Usually an owner leaves me alone unless I need something, and this felt very weird. The rooms were very dirty, and sketchy people next door were loud all night. I didn't feel safe here.

The bed was fairly comfortable, and aside from the bugs, the room seemed clean. It's close to restaurants and a shopping center, and the area seemed relatively safe. With occasional pest control and a better breakfast, this could be a good place to stay. I was here for two days while my son attended music camp. There were bugs in my room, and the shower didn't work well. The desk chair was too low, and its height lever didn't work, so I put two pillows on it to keep my shoulders from hurting while I typed. A desk lamp would help, since the wall light near one end of the desk left the other end in shadow. Breakfast was supposed to run from 6 to 9. At about 6:30, there were a bunch of unsavory-looking people sitting around and almost no food left, just a couple of mini muffins, a waffle maker, coffee, and maybe cereal. I figured it would be a carb-heavy, nutrient-empty joke, as it has been since COVID and before, so I'd brought something healthy and microwaveable. I made coffee in my room, but the coffee-pod package was already open and had just one pod. I wasn't sure if it was meant to contain two. Tomorrow I'll have to brave the breakfast room for coffee. I have another healthy breakfast item to microwave, but would rather not walk out in the cold just to get coffee. Maybe that's a first-world problem.
