The staff greeted me with real smiles, cheerful hospitality, and asked how they could help. The internet and wi-fi worked outstandingly, with no issues. The pool was sparkling clean and had a locking fence to keep non-swimmers safe after hours. The fitness rooms had the newest features for working out travel soreness. First impressions matter, and Baymont by Windham impressed me. The rooms were the cleanest and most comfortable I’ve stayed in, with Smart T.V.’s, and they looked and smelled inviting. The parking lot was very clean and well lit. Breakfast tasted like it was made with love. I’ve stayed at hotels all over America, but I’ve found my home away from home. Baymont by Windham has won me over. See ya next month 😃👍🏻👌🏻

The rooms are big, so families with more than three people would have plenty of space, and the bed sheets were impressively clean. The rooms are older, but well kept. The carpet was clean and vacuumed, and the beds, covers, and pillows were all clean. Breakfast was great every day, and the customer service was astonishing. The workers were so nice. The lobby and parking lot were always sparkling clean, and the elevator was cleaned every day too. At first, the elevator’s bleached carpets, smell, and sticky floor put me off, but seeing it cleaned daily changed my impression. I felt safe there. There are a few homeless people walking along the highway now and then, but they mind their business and don’t cause trouble outside. People kept to themselves, and I didn’t have to worry about smelling smoke anywhere in the building. The place wasn’t loud in the hallways or parking lot. I was a bit worried arriving in the dark and seeing how close it was to the highway, but the location and the people nearby weren’t an issue. It’s a decent, affordable place with good service and a great breakfast, and the prices are hard to beat. The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom. The shower really needs updating, as do the bathroom walls. Apart from that, I enjoyed every bit of my stay. You can’t find clean sheets like these everywhere, for real.

We noticed dirt on the opposite bed ends and blood on the sheets. It was red and dried, not brown from washing, and looked recent. There were syringe wipe marks too. In the bathroom, I lifted the toilet seat and found spots of fresh blood on it. There was hair in the tub and along the sides where someone had shaved, well, use your imagination. We told a co-worker about the bathroom, and then found the marks and blood on the bed. Thank God they reimbursed us, but what a disappointment from a Wyndham Hotel. The woman who helped us check out was professional and understanding. This place needs a turnaround fast.

The beds were comfortable and check-in was easy, but the shower had almost no pressure. After showering, we found stains on two towels, and one had holes in it. One curtain was shredded and barely hanging up. Although it was a non-smoking room and they’d used deodorizer to freshen it, you could still smell pot that had been smoked in there. The walls were thin enough that we heard our neighbor’s alarm that morning.
