Jackson Hotel & Convention Center

I’ve stayed here several times for work, but this last visit was awful. I told the receptionist I wanted to switch rooms and add another night, and she said that was fine. She approved my hotel card through the next day. I’d just been walking around the block for exercise, which helps with the nausea since I’m a few weeks pregnant. I went back to collect my things and take a quick shower. While I was still in the room, the receptionist sent a perverted man to do maintenance. He opened the door without my consent and didn’t wait for me to answer his knock. I asked him three times to close it while I was in my towel, but he just stood there staring. I called the police and reported him, the hotel, and the receptionist. She tried to blame me and yelled at the housekeeper Marianne when she tried to calm me down. I was crying so hard. The receptionist has blue and blonde hair and apparently thinks old men should get to peek at women staying there. I’m never coming back.

The hotel is in a great location and offers excellent value. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, just what I needed. The staff were all welcoming, and Samantha especially went above and beyond from check-in through checkout. She was kind, professional, and attentive, and her local recommendations made my trip even better. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to making guests happy. Thanks to Samantha and the team for such an enjoyable visit. I’d definitely stay again.

I arrived, took a 45-second video showing filth all over the walls, shower, and light switches, then checked out about 15 minutes later and drove to another hotel down the street. The hallways were filthy too, with stains everywhere. I’m still shocked by how disgusting the place was.

There was constant activity in the parking lot well past midnight, which made it hard to feel at ease. The bathroom was dirty and poorly maintained, adding to an already unpleasant stay. The room flooring was in rough shape, with visible bubbles that made unsettling noises every time I stepped on them, and the old, worn beds sank uncomfortably in the middle. The building shown in the Google Maps ad looked nothing like the real place. This was a very disappointing experience, and I can’t recommend it.
