River Row Flats

We’ve stayed here more than once now, and we’re already planning another visit. Nancy, the manager, was friendly, and the location is hard to beat, nearly across from New Belgium Brewery and right by the French Broad River Greenway. We enjoyed walking over to the brewery, and there was a fun farmers market during one of our days. The evenings were quiet, and the nightly rate was great. Our dog was welcome, and it was only $50 for the stay. They supplied a dog bed and bowl, with a dog waste station outside across from the parking lot. The whole first floor allows pets. The room itself was clean, with a very comfortable king bed and great pillows. It’s a little studio apartment with dishes, glasses, utensils, and full-size appliances, including a dishwasher and in-sink grinder. The large bathroom was exceptionally clean too. The TV controls were confusing, but it was big, and we managed to watch movies at night. You’d be crazy not to check this place out.

This has become our usual place to stay in Asheville. The location is great, and the value is too. The rooms are big, reliably clean, and well stocked. Little touches like local coffee and a thoughtfully supplied bathroom make it a pleasure to stay here.

My wife and I have stayed here twice for couples’ weekends. The units are clean and spacious, and the location is great, right beside bike trails along the river that lead down to the Foundy and other River Arts District shops and restaurants.

Nancy, the manager, was quick and clear when I had a question, and she left a sweet little Easter basket for my kiddo. The suite was spacious and comfortable, with a kitchen that had everything I needed, including sharp knives. I usually wake up with back pain after sleeping in most beds, but the one at River Row Flats didn’t bother me, and I felt refreshed each day of vacation. I’ll definitely stay again!
