Super 8 by Wyndham Asheville/Biltmore

Our two puppies finally got to run off leash at the on-site dog park after more than a week of our trip without that chance. We were also pleasantly surprised there was no pet fee, since many Super 8s charge one. The hotel is quaint, in a lovely spot right off the highway, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We'd gladly stay again if we're back this way. Thank you!

We booked at the last minute and were happy with the stay for the price. The room looked like it did online and was fairly clean. It had clearly been a smoking room before, though the odor wasn't very strong. Just be aware the breakfast was only juice, coffee, and packaged pastries.

We needed temporary housing for a longer stay while we bought our home, and were told not to worry about signing a contract with the rules. Then they told us to leave around checkout time, when we had work schedules to manage, and said it was because my partner had left the door open while spring cleaning and playing music the day before. We had asked a neighbor to tell us if the music was too loud, and we'd turn it down. Someone who worked there walked across the room and said it was a little loud, so we lowered it right away. The communication was poor. We were told not to worry about reading and signing anything, but then got kicked out over music. Being uprooted like that when people are living there really sucks. I can't say this place is dependable or respectful in how it communicates. Be careful.

The location is decent, but I wouldn't return. We booked a nonsmoking room and walked into a horrible wet-ashtray smell. The floor was so weak that stepping by the sink outside the bathroom made the toilet slam against the wall. Around 1 a.m., a resident's very loud truck was started and left running five times in about an hour. The entry door had a big gap all around and wouldn't close properly, and the bathroom door wouldn't shut at all. I'd give less than one star if I could.
