We only had one night with our family of 5 while traveling from Seattle toward Bend, and I really wish we could have stayed a week. The place is so special, with well-built, plush lodgings that feel like glamping. We appreciated the complimentary tea, soaking tub, and good wifi. A wedding was happening in the beautiful glass event space when we arrived, like a little forest jewel box, but we could still get into the restaurant. The Ukrainian food was amazing and authentic, with a big beer and wine selection. We loved the pierogis, borsch, salmon, and even the kids’ mac n cheese. We booked the Cannibal hot tub and sauna, and it felt like relaxing in a European mountain village. Don’t miss it! Alex and his family have clearly put a lot of hard work and love into this stunning place. Their hospitality and craftsmanship are incredible.

The best part of our stay at Paradise Village was a memorable dinner at the Ukrainian restaurant. We’d never tried borscht before, and it was delicious. The sauce on the Alaskan salmon was so good I wish I had the recipe, I’m still trying to copy it at home. We stayed in a cabin with delightful, very livable “modern rustic chic” decor. The view from outside was wonderful, with the sculpture garden, and we even saw a small herd of elk come into the meadow in the evening. Staff were completely friendly and helpful. It’s only five miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. We’re so glad we chose Paradise Village Hotel & Restaurant. Thank you!

The Ukrainian food and Cannibal Hot Tub immediately won me over, and everything met our expectations. This is a lovely little gem right near the Nisqually entrance for Rainier. The family who runs it works hard from sunup to sundown to keep everything running smoothly, and they’re absolutely lovely. Please consider staying here and supporting them instead of a Hilton.

There were 13 of us, and we had a great time at Paradise Village. The Cannibal Hot tub was amazing, and the staff were always happy to help or show us how things worked. The restaurant was clean, and I loved the waitress’s special Ukrainians outfits, they looked great. The food and service were great, a very pleasant surprise. Our rooms were clean, some floors were heated, and the coffee appliances were good quality. We’ll be back for sure!

The restaurant service was good, the place was quiet and easy to find, and I felt safe staying here alone. It’s also close to Mount Rainier. But I’d booked two nights after seeing all the nice photos and reviews, and left after just one because I felt so uncomfortable and grossed out. I stayed last fall after hiking and got a motel room, not one of the advertised cabins. It was horrible. The shower looked like it had mold, there was no closet, part of the floor under a table was torn up, and the room felt dirty. It seemed like a cheap one-star roadside motel had been given a paint job, with cabins added to the property and advertised instead.
