Green Springs Inn & Cabins

The Jenny Creek cabin at Green Springs was a lovely place to unplug for a weekend. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, including the hot tub. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cooking supplies, and the bathroom even had basic hygiene products stocked. We’re looking forward to staying again!

We had a peaceful stay in The Lodge. The room was spotless, and that spa jetted tub for two was the best. We had a wonderful time and hope to rent a cabin someday. The restaurant only opens in summer, so bring some good snacks or take the short drive down the pretty winding road into Asland, Oregon.

I do want to stay here again, and the private jacuzzi tubs are a favorite. A few details kept this from being a five-star stay for me, though. There were only sheer curtains in the bedroom and none in the living room. Since our cabin sat among other cabins, the lack of privacy affected how well we slept. I’d suggest adding curtains. The check-in time felt late and checkout early. With travel costing so much now, I’d like more time to enjoy a place instead of feeling I paid hundreds just to sleep. The cleaning fee makes sense for laundry and disinfecting the tub and bathroom, but having guests wash and put away dishes and take out trash feels like too much. I leave places as I found them and make sure the trash is picked up, but I don’t like the feeling of doing the cleaning myself while still paying for it. I understand not every guest is tidy, but that expectation doesn’t sit well with me. These aren’t deal breakers. I’d come back, knowing I should bring a few things to make it more comfortable.

We were hoping for snow during our mid-December visit, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Maybe we’ll try again in February and get some then. Even without it, we loved Boccard cabin, the couples cabin, and can’t wait to return. We spent hours playing the provided board games and cards in front of the fireplace. The wood-burning stove came with firewood and everything we needed to make a fire. The robes were soft and comfy, and I loved the bed’s comforter so much I wanted to find its tag and order one for home. The bed itself was comfortable, and the linens were clean and soft. The deck hot tub was relaxing and nicely shielded for privacy. I liked that we filled it ourselves for each use, which felt reassuring for cleanliness. The cabin was clean, and there was plenty of hot water and good pressure. 10/10, definitely recommend.
