Palm Cottages

We stayed one night heading south and another on the way north during an 11-day road trip. My husband, our dog, and I enjoyed this charming retro motel, especially the nice outdoor spots for sitting in the sun and relaxing. They're very dog friendly. Staying here made us want to return for a few days and see more of Ashland.

During a long drive from Seattle to San Diego and back, The Palm was by far the best value of our trip and my favorite overnight stop. The room and grounds were charming, comfortable, and immaculate, and the service was friendly.

We had a great weekend at P.A.L.M. Cottage in Ashland, Oregon, while attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The courtyard, salt water pool, and well-equipped cottages made it a delightful getaway. There's a peaceful quiet about the grounds, even though the motel is on the main road and downtown is an easy walk. Morning Glory Restaurant is nearby too, and their breakfasts are incredible. Our room had tasteful, slightly whimsical decor that brought another era to mind while still feeling modern. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed: a stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, tea kettle, and plenty of dishes. I highly recommend this unique and wonderful place.

We stayed at the Palm Motel for a preview day at SOU, which is literally across the street, so the location was ideal. It's a cute, friendly, funky little motel. Our room was clean, quiet, and spacious; the kitchenette was a big plus, and the beds were very comfortable. We'll absolutely stay again if my kid ends up at SOU.
