The Innsbruck Aspen

Innsbruck is in a great spot, a long walk or quick bike ride from downtown. They lend out free bikes, which made for a beautiful way to explore town and the Rio Grande trail. Staff were warm and helpful, offering shuttle rides and plenty of ideas for activities and places to eat. The rooms were comfortable and had what we needed, though we couldn’t get the fancy oven/convection/microwave unit to cook properly even after reading the manual. The air and water temperatures were a little quirky, but nothing too bad.

We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the bed was comfy. The room was clean, excellent, and roomy, with a steamer in the shower. There’s also a nice hot tub, and the staff were very friendly. Great place to stay.

The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a ground-floor two-bedroom with three full bathrooms, and you could enter from the front or through either bedroom. The kitchen had a full-size refrigerator and a microwave/convection oven, but no regular oven. Parking in back is limited. Staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and the best I’ve interacted with. They offer rides around town and to Snowmass gondolas on a first-come, first-served basis, which is an amazing perk. We had a comfortable week here and look forward to staying again.

The street-facing room was our one drawback. Traffic carried on late into the night and started up early in the morning. Otherwise, the room was large and had everything we needed for the week. The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly, and the bathroom was great, especially the shower temperature control. Shops are a quick walk away, and there’s a shuttle too.
