Astoria Rivershore Motel

We came with a big group and rented several rooms. Every one was very clean, updated, and well kept. In our room, a door between the beds was a feature I really liked. The kitchenette was short on silverware, with just one spoon, but the nice man at the front desk brought us a bunch of plastic ones. I asked his name before leaving and forgot it, but want to recognize his exceptional service, as well as the kindness of everyone we met. I'd seen reviews about bugs and nearly cancelled, but I'm so glad we didn't. The rooms had box fans, and I didn't notice road noise. There's a pier right across the street that you can walk out onto, and our kids loved seeing the big ships pass in the morning. We'll stay here whenever we're in town.

Tyler was great and had some really useful recommendations. The motel coffee was surprisingly good, easily among the top three I've had. Our beds and bathroom were clean, the TV and WiFi worked well, and the appliances did too. You can walk to two Astoria spots for food and culture in about 5-10 minutes.

We had a two-bed room with a kitchen at the end of the building. It looked recently remodeled and was remarkably clean when we arrived. The road out front is busy, but you get a nice view of the ships going by. A couple more maid service check-ins would have been good, though for the room's size and price, it's a great deal.

The price was especially good, and the room was spotless, from the bathroom to the fresh linens. It was a comfortable place to come back to after exploring. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and their suggestions for local food and sights were right on. Everything was close by, whether we wanted downtown, the riverfront, or somewhere to eat, so getting around was easy and we could fit more into our plans. The Astoria Rivershore Motel brings together comfort, service, cleanliness, and a convenient location at a very affordable price. I'd gladly book it on my next trip to Astoria and recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, budget-friendly stay. Five stars.
