GiGi is a real asset to the company. Everyone I met was pleasant and polite, and the customer service was better than I expected, even though I can be a bit difficult sometimes. Check-in was quick, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and the hot breakfast was good. I stayed from Dec 20th-22nd and would happily return. I'm used to valet parking and high-rise hotels with rooftop bars, but with the holidays coming up I had other priorities. For the price and service, this place is hard to beat.

The hotel was nice and the service was good, but we didn't get much rest. From 9pm to 4am, then again around 6am, sirens sounded constantly in every direction around the hotel beside the major Atlanta freeway. We were woken at least eight times in our one-night stay. That's outside the hotel's control, but worth knowing if you're not used to the sound of crime. Another four or five wake-ups came from people using a service door directly across from our room. It set off an alarm each time it opened and slammed shut. Breakfast was free, though as Great Grampa Alphons used to say, “Anything free is worth saving up for.” We could walk to a few places to eat, but aside from the stadium next door, nowhere was an easy walk.

The beds were really comfortable, with soft mattresses and thick, cozy blankets, and I slept well. The lighting was pleasant and not harsh like at some other Choice Hotels. Even with the highway beside it, the view was very nice. There's a great BBQ place within literal walking distance, and the hotel is right next to the stadium. A few things didn't work: the bathroom fan, and there was no ice on some floors. There also weren't any power outlets next to the beds.

The hotel staff were so helpful, and I’d stay here again. A snowstorm in South Carolina, where I’m from, meant I had to reach Atlanta much earlier than planned to make it to a conference. I struggled to find somewhere to stay, but they let me check in eight hours early for a small fee and included breakfast as though I’d stayed the night before.
