Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead

The 1,100-plus-square-foot suite was beautiful, clean, and very well priced, and we appreciated the excellent service and location while making a last-minute trip to help my mom with a medical issue. There was a full-size fridge, but no minibar or food or drinks in the suite. The 24-hour Market in the lobby helped make up for that, especially because Sutton, the lovely guy working there, was absolutely spectacular. I have a photo of his name tag since he wouldn't let me take his picture. I literally love him! 💖💖💖 When our rental car had a flat tire as we were leaving, the valet offered to put air in it. That made a big difference, since it would've been a real problem to get the tire filled before heading to the airport. The one other letdown was that the hotel had no adult entertainment. My husband and I like to make any trip romantic, so it would've been nice to have that option. Maybe that's a Southern thing. 🎉💃🏿💖

The hotel itself was nice, but the valet and parking attendants were extremely rude and impatient. They need training in how to speak to customers and handle check-ins and checkouts. The entrance roundabout is there so paying guests can pull over briefly, and I shouldn't be harassed for using it. I've never had this problem anywhere else. I'm not obligated to hand over my keys, either. Relax and do better.

I treated myself to a birthday staycation, and the whole experience went beyond what I expected. Meghan, the manager, made me feel special all weekend, from the room and valet to the service from everyone. It's an amazing hotel, especially for a birthday, and I highly recommend it. A 10 out of 10, and I'll definitely be back.

The room was a good size, the amenities were nice, and the gym was really good for a hotel. The location is also convenient, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. My main problem was a loud ticking sound that came and went during the night in room 1124. It seemed to be coming from somewhere in the bathroom ceiling and woke me up or kept me awake. The bed wasn't the most comfortable either, though it wasn't terrible.
