Best Bet Motor Lodge

We stayed in the double queen suite, which was spacious and had a cozy, relaxing feel. The location makes it easy to walk around Midtown, then come back and unwind. Sydney at the front desk was cool and quick to help, and the service was great. The Sauna club was a highlight too. It’s well kept and relaxing, with both an indoor sauna and an airstream sauna. That’s a really unique feature on site. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the free s’mores kits they provide. It was our first time experiencing everything Best Bet offers, and we had an amazing stay. I’m a Reno native and would put it on the list for a staycation. If you’re visiting Reno, it’s worth staying here at least once and checking out what’s available.

Best Bet is easily my favorite place to stay in Reno. Everyone there, from the owner on down, is amazing, and the location is hard to beat. There are lots of great bars and restaurants within walking distance. I’d recommend getting a sauna pass for your stay, you’ll come out feeling like a million dollars. The big fire pit is also a nice spot to sit and catch up with friends or family. No parking charge, no huge garage to navigate every time you head out, and no hidden resort fees at checkout. This place really is the best.

This is my second visit, and I plan to keep coming back. The lodge is right on Midtown, so there can be some street noise, but they provide earplugs and the street eventually gets quiet. What keeps me coming back is that Best Bet feels genuinely well made. It looks great, but the real plants, quality decor, and comfortable beds make it feel like more than just a nice-looking room. The rooms are comfy, the welcome is warm, and the service is top-notch. We love the spa, and the location puts food, culture, drinks, and fun close by. It’s central to downtown too. If you want somewhere fun and nice, this is the spot.

It was our first time in Reno, and from here on we only want to stay at Best Bet. The room was lovely and clean, and the sauna was so relaxing. Being close to restaurants, bars, and coffee shops made the trip even better, with plenty to do on foot.
