Quality Inn

The upstairs king room had a sleeper sofa, and I didn't hear traffic or other guests during my stay. The bed was on the firm side, which I like, though anyone wanting a soft mattress should know. There's no elevator, but I can manage the stairs, and being upstairs meant no footsteps overhead. Some hallway floorboards creak, which I actually like. My room had AC, though the doors and windows in the shared areas were open, so I'm not sure whether the whole place has it. The staff were attentive and the rooms clean. Breakfast was underwhelming apart from a perfect banana, and the coffee needs work. The front desk woman said the downstairs king rooms are smaller, and honestly, they sound really small.

The room smelled awful, and the front desk couldn't sort it out while the managers were away. We waited four hours for a fix. When the managers came back, they replaced the A/C unit, which we appreciated. The carpet by the window was wet and probably added to the odor. I'd give the value and front desk service 1 star, and the manager service 4.

We booked a double queen with a sofa bed at the last minute while in Green Bay for Packers Family Night. It was fine for two parents, a teenage girl and a younger boy, though no sofa-bed linens were provided, so we had to share a bed's sheet, blanket and pillows. The drive was longer than I expected, but that's not the hotel's fault.

The room was much cleaner than I expected, and the front desk person was so friendly and welcoming.
