Karen and John were gracious hosts and made some special arrangements for us, which we really appreciated. We stayed in the cottage for our 21st anniversary and to look at some local property, and had a wonderful time. The hot breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed their company. The property and home are beautiful, with silly chickens and the friendliest cat and dog. We felt right at home and will definitely return when we're in the area.

Nest Cottage at Silly Chickens Lodge was a lovely place to stay. Karen and John made us fresh, delicious breakfast each morning. We especially enjoyed the scenery, the chickens, and their pets. It's conveniently located for Mooresville and Davidson, while still feeling like a peaceful rural escape.

We stayed at Silly Chickens Lodge on our wedding night six years ago, and recently came back. It still feels just as magical, with a special atmosphere that's perfect for a romantic stay. John and Karen are always warm and welcoming, and make you feel at home. Be sure to RSVP for breakfast, it's something you won't want to miss. This place means a lot to us, and we hope to return and make more memories.

John and Karen are terrific hosts, and the food is delicious. We celebrated our 20th anniversary at Silly Chicken Lodge, and the provisions were far beyond what we expected. Their breakfast is worth the price, and they gave us superb food recommendations. We'll be back soon!
