Economy Inn Lawton

The owner gave us a discount because we arrived very early in the morning, and made sure we were up and out by 10:30 am. The lot was well lit, so we felt our work tools in the truck were safe. The pillows were flat, but we still slept like babies. For an older place, the rooms were very clean, and it was worth it.

I like the building’s style, and sitting there gives it a cozy feel. The rooms were clean and fairly quiet, which is good considering how old the place is and how long it’s been operating. The parking lot is tricky. I missed the spaces in the middle and parked close to the room. As I got near, I slowed down and spotted an entrance, then realized it was actually the exit. Yellow arrows on the ground show the direction for guests.

We spent almost two hours looking and found a hotel that smelled disgusting and looked gross, so we canceled and kept searching for another hour, nearly giving up. Then we found this inn, and it was perfect for us and our children. The room was in good shape and smelled nice. Definitely recommend it. We’re forever grateful!

The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us during our stay. The building is old and the rooms are small and basic, but ours was clean and the beds were comfortable. For $205, we got two beds for four nights, which is what I expected for the price. Bring an extra pillow and towels if there’s more than one guest. The staff’s lovely personalities made up for the lack of luxury.
