Echo Suites Extended Stay Reno

I liked the location, but I won’t stay here again. The person in the room above us kept slamming around and jumping, shaking our room, and staff wouldn’t do anything. Then I found ants all over the counter, so we checked out a day early and went somewhere else. Though it’s only a year old, it feels cheaply built. It also seems like a construction workers’ hotel, with lots of guys outside drinking beer.

The room was pretty bare bones. We got one towel and washcloth per person and only three pillows for two guests. There was no blow dryer, and although there was a kitchen, the dish pack cost extra. Housekeeping isn’t provided for stays under seven days, so you have to take used towels to the front desk to exchange them. The staff there weren’t very personable and couldn’t answer our questions about the EV charger. Morning coffee came from a machine and wasn’t anything special. On the good side, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, and WiFi and satellite TV were free. The property felt safe, with plenty of safe parking, and we left our e-bikes on our SUV every night without trouble. The hotel was brand new and very clean, and the location was perfect. We also appreciated being allowed to check in at 3:00 pm instead of the usual 4:00 pm. Fine for a short stay, but bring your own stuff.

The rooms are great, and the staff are excellent. I’ve stayed in plenty of motels, and ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham is easily the best place I’ve found in this price range. I won’t stay anywhere else in Reno. It’s ECHO Suites every day of the week. Thanks to the staff for everything you do!

Everything looks new, and I believe the hotel started operating last year. It was quiet and very clean, with plenty of parking. The room had a large microwave, refrigerator, small stove, sink, and closet organizer. The price was extremely fair. This is an honest review.
