Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown, GA

The people working here were warm and welcoming, and breakfast had lots of fresh, tasty choices. We also had a spacious, clean room and a wonderfully comfortable bed, so it was easy to get a good night's rest. A five star stay for comfort, service, and quality.

We came to Atlanta for a cheer competition and left our vehicle with the valet. We're Hilton Diamond members and have been for more than ten years, so this experience was especially discouraging. The next morning we found an important item missing from the vehicle. We spoke to the valet right away; they tried to contact the overnight staff, but as the day went on we were the ones repeatedly asking for updates. By day's end my husband spoke with Courtney, the valet manager. When he described what happened, she sounded exasperated and said, “Ugh! I was about to go home…” That was the first warning sign. He then asked the front desk for the general manager. The desk attendant said the GM doesn't work weekends and she had no contact details, but mentioned an assistant manager was there. Branden (last name uncertain) came over, didn't greet my husband, spoke only to the desk attendant, walked around him, then asked, “So what’s your issue?” from behind the desk. When my husband explained the item had been taken from our car, Branden interrupted with “ALLEGEDLY.” My husband was taken aback. The item was gone without our knowledge or permission, and he felt there was no “allegedly” about what had happened. He ended the conversation because management had escalated it. We're now corresponding with Hilton corporate and the Atlanta Police, since the property management didn't seem to consider this a major issue. It's deeply discouraging to travel with family and choose a place you think will be safe and trustworthy, only to feel that it isn't. We'll never stay here again.

I'm dealing with a long list of autoimmune conditions, procedures, healing, and recovery while I'm here, and this Hilton has been the best property for me so far. The team are consummate professionals, and the housekeeping manager, Ms.S, is keeping things running tightly. She's a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile and heart, beauty and brains. The staff are top tier, professional, and accommodating. Bravo! I'll be back soon. 🙌🏽

I was in town for Shaky Knees and had a really good experience with the service. They let me check in a couple of hours early, though I would've been fine waiting longer. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. I'd like to stay here again on my next trip to Atlanta.
