The room looked like this when I arrived, and I think any hotel room in that condition should be shut down over hygiene and safety concerns. The walls are extremely thin. The place feels very sketchy, especially for a woman, so avoid it completely. They also don’t properly accommodate guests when they’ve done something wrong. The owners aren’t good people. Trust the reviews.

I was doing a big job in the area and found a weekly stay listed online for $576, so I called to ask about weekly availability and considered booking closer to the west side of town. The woman told me they only do one-night stays, said not to call back, and immediately hung up in my face. Really?

It’s a whole lot better than it used to be. They still need to fix the wall sockets and have somewhere to warm up food.

For the price, I’m not sure you could beat this place. The room had a fridge, TV, bed, and microwave, and was clean and in good condition, though it looked a bit dated. The staff and owners were really friendly and upfront about the price and the fact that all rooms are smoking rooms. It didn’t smell terrible. I wouldn’t expect five-star amenities, but it’s a clean, adequate place to stay.
