I’m biking from Texas to New York and have stayed in motels all along the way, many of them not so great. Here, the family was really sweet, and the rooms looked so nice inside. You could tell they cared. Thanks for making my stay a good one. I said I’d leave a good review.

For the price, it was worth staying here. The staff member I dealt with was very polite, though I had trouble finding anyone at first. I waited a while and was close to leaving when he finally showed up. After that, it was a pleasant stay.

The room seemed clean enough, though it still had carpet, which I find unhygienic in 2025. We woke every few hours because of traffic from the loud street nearby. It’s the noisiest motel we’ve stayed at so far, so bring earplugs. The location isn’t great, and while it’s manageable for one night, I wouldn’t stay longer. There were also obvious water stains above the bathtub, as if the room upstairs had a leak.

Roaches are a deal breaker for me. On my most recent stay, everything seemed fine until I brought food into the room late one night, then the bugs appeared. Fortunately, we were leaving the next morning. I’d stayed here about six times over the years, always for several nights, and it used to be clean and a good, affordable place, though never fancy. It seems ownership or management has changed, and it’s no longer the same. I can accept a place that isn’t modern or luxurious, or even perfectly clean, but it can’t be dirty or nasty.
