The shower turned cold after about 10 minutes and never warmed up again. Even the sink water wasn't warm. Aside from that, the room was clean when we arrived, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The one-bedroom king suite isn't really a separate bedroom, since the wall only comes halfway up and there's no door, though it does have a full kitchen. We asked for an upgrade and weren't accommodated. I expected that might happen since it was New Year's, even though I'd booked weeks ahead. Breakfast comes from a restaurant, and they charge extra to bring it to your room. Parking is valet only. The stay was decent, but there are better hotels in the same price range.

We booked this place because it was near the hospital where we needed to be early, and I was blown away by the lobby and the room. For the price, it's really impressive. I've stayed in high-end rooms costing more than twice as much that had fewer amenities and less space. We'll be back to enjoy the place soon.

We celebrated my birthday with a weekend staycation, and the whole staff helped make it special by wishing me a happy birthday at different times through the day. The hotel was clean, the lobby had plenty of space, and the bartender was nice. JeMarcus at the front desk and his sidekick were pleasant and helpful with check-in. I wish I could remember her name. At the Catch restaurant inside the hotel, Cemoney knew the menu and suggested dishes for us to try. He was a great waiter, and our food came out on time and was all great. Everyone gave excellent, professional service. I'll definitely come back!

The door to our balcony wouldn't lock, which was frightening. I had to choose between staying apart from my husband with the children or having both of us apart from them. There was also damage to the room's art with nails exposed, which seemed hazardous. The rooms were dark and unclean, and the entrance was dirty, dark, and unwelcoming. No one offered to carry our bags. We were constantly hearing sirens and traffic, as if we were outside. There was no soundproofing, and the earplugs provided should have warned us. I didn't sleep at all, and my children barely slept. We canceled the second night and went somewhere else. This was our first visit to Atlanta, and we had an amazing day planned, but my husband and I were exhausted throughout it. When we checked out and he said it had been terrible, the only response was, "I'm sorry." No one asked what had happened, and I had no energy left to explain. We arrived to find someone shouting and honking at us at valet to move our vehicle, even though we'd just stopped and were waiting for an available valet. There's no self-parking option, and valet takes time and isn't always there. The front desk woman was friendly, but said our room wasn't available for the night. We have four children, so none of the other options worked well and we had to take two rooms. We weren't told this would cost extra, even though it wasn't our fault. They later discounted the rooms, but the total still came to more than the suite we had booked. For a hotel meant to be four stars, it felt like two stars because of the cleanliness and service. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
