Days Inn by Wyndham Atlantic City Beachblock

Kevin went above and beyond after I left my bags behind at checkout. Once he found them, he checked security footage and called me several times until it was all sorted out. He even checked my receipt twice to be sure he was returning the bags to the right person. I got my things while I was still in the city. We chose this place first because we needed room for three people and three beds, but I found a gem at an affordable price. Five stars well earned.

The beds were clean, but there was junk under one that looked spooky, and the rugs behind the sofa were ripped. The toilet seat looked used and needs replacing. The rooms could use a different paint color, maybe blue, and these little repairs shouldn’t be hard to make. The lobby looks brown and old-fashioned. They need me to redecorate. It’s not that expensive.

Compared with the dive hotels and motels in Galloway, this place is better. But unless all you need is somewhere to sleep off a night drinking in the casinos, I wouldn’t recommend it. It needs a full overhaul, and Wyndham should come see how its brand is being represented. Room deposits vary, so use an actual credit card or cash wherever you stay in Atlantic City.

The staff were nice and respectful, but this is a cheap hotel with plenty to fix. There’s only one elevator, and the second floor smells like cigarettes. The only thing available was coffee, even though signs say breakfast is included. A muffin and juice wouldn’t count as breakfast, and coffee by itself certainly doesn’t. The bathroom curtain was dirty and the filters need cleaning. Water kept coming out of the sink even when we tried to close it, and the bathroom door looked old and repainted.
