The free breakfast had a surprisingly fancy selection, and there’s also a free soda fountain with Coke products. My room was very clean, and the staff were lovely. Hot water, water pressure, Wi-Fi, and toiletries were all good, and there were thoughtful little conveniences in the room. I’ve been in five star hotels that weren’t as nice. It’s also much cheaper than Marriott or Hilton. I highly recommend it. Keep up the good work!

I usually stay here whenever I’m in town visiting family, so I expected more when I upgraded to a suite. You could tell the cleaning staff had been through, but there were bottles behind the window curtain and dust behind the lamps, around the plugs. Those little details should be taken care of even in a regular room. The outside trash was overflowing too, though someone could easily have taken it out. I expect better from this hotel.

I spoke with the manager, Jack, after check-in, and he was very nice and spoke well. He turned things around, a real leader, and I changed my rating from three stars to four. The check-in with Brian had been one of the worst I’ve had. As a Gold member not far from platinum, I found the brief interaction hostile. Some coaching, a little help with the technology, and better interpersonal communication would go a long way.

We paid $750 a night during graduation week and got housekeeping that was the same light “cleaning” every day. The beds were made so badly, by what seemed like the most incompetent people in the hotel industry. The front desk staff were unapologetic and useless. Darlene, a nice lady who helped us clean in the afternoon, had to fix the mess the morning crew left. Would not come back.
