Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Augusta/Garden City

Clean rooms and reasonable prices.

Right in the middle of Augusta, which is a good location. The room was clean enough to sleep in.

There were roaches and bugs, and the room didn't have a remote. While I was still in the room, they came in to work on the air conditioner. The manager was extremely rude, and I was charged an extra fee at the front desk. I was told the last smoking room had been sold and that I'd need to pay another $30, but then they sold me one for just $11 extra. They also refused to rent me a room for more than two days because of “Masters.” Sad situation.

The staff member was extremely helpful and kind, and the bed was clean. My first room hadn't been cleaned yet, but they moved me to another one right away, so that wasn't a big deal. There were odd stains on the walls, the bath water ran red when I first turned it on, and the TV only got one channel. Most of that didn't bother me much because the service was great. It's nothing fancy, but for an overnight stay when you just need a shower and a bed, it does the job.
