Holiday Inn Express North Augusta by IHG

I'm on the road transporting items all over the country, so I stay in hotels almost every night. This was a good find. It was clean and peaceful, with a comfortable bed, a convenient location, and lots of parking. I'll save this spot for the next time I'm passing through.

I came here hoping to get some rest, but staff knocked on my door several times before my 11 a.m. checkout. I paid to stay until that time, and they kept pressuring me to leave early. If a good night's sleep matters to you, I'd look elsewhere.

I was charged the full cost of my 11-night stay right after checking in. The hotel told me I'd be refunded if I checked out early, but two weeks have passed and I still haven't received it. I stay at hundreds of hotels, and this isn't a proper way to do business. The delay makes handling my business expenses difficult, and I won't return.

At 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, March 30, housekeeping banged on our door and other doors, waking my family and me. When I said checkout was at 11, the employee insisted it was 9 and told me to take it up with the manager. She said she only takes instructions from her manager. I won't be back to Holiday Inn Express or its affiliates.
