BridgeStreet at Newport - The Pacific

I've lived at PAC Newport for four years, and my rent has kept climbing. In 2025, a two-bedroom costs more than $5,000, which ought to come with a premium living experience. That's not what I've found. The dryers in the 30th-floor laundry room often need three full cycles for one load, about $9 each time. I've raised it repeatedly over the past year, but Newport management hasn't meaningfully responded or fixed it. The elevator situation finally pushed me to post. For two weeks, only one elevator was working, and in the last three days the second one has also been out. In a full 30-floor building, weekday morning and evening waits regularly run over 15 to 30 minutes. Management hasn't shared a repair timeline or even acknowledged the daily disruption. After years as a resident, I'm extremely disappointed. Newport Management seems to put profits ahead of people, and residents are treated as disposable while valid concerns get ignored time and again. I'm counting down until my lease ends. If you're thinking of moving here, look elsewhere for a place that values residents and provides the amenities you're paying for. Newport isn't it. Honestly, you'd get better service at Walmart.

When you move out, they take a lot out of your deposit. The management office is completely disrespectful and seems to chase customers away to avoid dealing with problems. Look around for a better apartment building outside Newport Residential.

The washers need to be cleaned and disinfected regularly, and something needs to be done about dirty tenants. Yesterday, someone left what looked like skin-disease flakes and food waste in the washers. I reported it to CSC, but today the disgusting stuff was still there and smelled awful. This is a public health hazard! The doormen and leasing staff are good, though.

Worst ever. We had a crazy PSEG bill, $450 in December and $700 in January for a 2B2B apartment. There's a high-pitched sound from the water pipes in both the kitchen and bathroom. We called maintenance, but they barely did anything and the noise is still there. The lounge is very small, there's no gym or other amenities, and the floors are often dirty.
