Motel 6 Augusta, KS

I’m grateful for the hospitality and the great service. The staff are very nice and considerate, and they take good care of the rooms and guests.

I had a reservation confirmation from February, but when I arrived they said it had been canceled that day because they were full. The front desk didn’t ask for my name, email, or anything. They said they’d tried to contact Expedia, even though I hadn’t booked through Expedia. There wasn’t anyone in the parking lot, either. Very strange.

The manager, Dhruv, was friendly and hospitable, and the housekeeper keeps the property spotless. There’s fresh coffee by the office, a very comfortable bed, new bathtub showers, and a new flat screen TV. It’s not perfect, but you can tell they take pride in the place. No smoking, thank God. I was surprised by how nice the rooms were, and it beats Super 8 Wyndham in ElDorado Ks by a lot. I’ll definitely book again, and appreciate the staff and owners for taking care of the property. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of hot water, and the floors were LVP instead of carpet. There was hot coffee in the lobby, too. The toilet felt rather short. The hotel is on the west side of Augusta, across from Walmart and next to a good Mexican restaurant.
