The biggest difference for me was how responsive the team was. They handled every request quickly and with a positive attitude, which matters whether I'm traveling for work or for fun. You can tell there's leadership that pays attention to the details and the guest experience. The property felt refreshed, organized, and well run from the moment I arrived. The front desk team was welcoming, professional, and efficient, and customer service seemed like a real priority. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and housekeeping was consistent and attentive. The common areas were tidy too, and the whole atmosphere felt improved from previous visits. If you haven't been back since the new management took over, it's worth another look. The improvements are real, and things seem to be moving in a good direction. Highly recommend.

I travel often, and it's rare for a stay to beat my expectations, but this one did. From check-in to checkout everything went smoothly. The property clearly takes pride in how it's run and in guest satisfaction, and I'd absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great service. The Wingate impressed me as soon as I walked in. The room was fresh, well maintained, and extremely comfortable. The lobby, hallways, and shared spaces were spotless, and honestly, this was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've stayed in. The staff were welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. Every interaction felt warm and sincere, not transactional. I rarely take time to write hotel reviews, but this stay deserved it.

Had a wonderful two-night stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent and complimentary. Coffee was available around the clock, and I really liked the gym too. The only issue was hearing TV volumes from other rooms, though I don't see that as the hotel's fault since guests should keep the volume down. Otherwise, a great stay. I'll recommend it and stay again when I need to. Special thanks to Jonathan at reception for the warm welcome at check-in. Friendly staff are an added bonus. Thank you!

The location was the one bright spot. Inside, the room felt musty and badly dated, with grimy carpet and headboards. We arrived on 27th February 2026 and found a cockroach by the bed, which we killed as soon as we came in. The exterior photos are misleading. Everything apart from the location was subpar.

Breakfast was fresh and good, and the place itself is decent. The shower could have been cleaner, and a mirror was missing from the bathroom. It was also noisy, so the soundproofing could use some work.
