The room was clean, and they offer fresh ground coffee for free. We did find 6 dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we checked in.

The location was the reason I chose this place on a spontaneous family visit last year, but I won’t book here again. The elevator, hallways, and rooms all smelled musty. Carpeting in hotels like this is a bad idea for that reason. Service was terrible too. There was almost never anyone at the desk. I only needed a place to sleep, and while I know it’s a 2 star hotel, basic musty smells should still be fixable.

I checked in around 11pm on May 23rd for May 23rd-25th. The hallway smelled like an old farm, and my room, 303, didn’t smell pleasant either. The floor felt damp and smelled old when I took off my shoes. At first I thought little of it because the room looked clean and nice, but the bedding felt hot and damp, leaving me sticky and humid. The next morning I noticed red bumps around my stomach. They didn’t go away, and after I got back to Fort Worth, they started spreading. At my May 30th doctor’s appointment, I was told I had a fungal infection and was prescribed medication. Clean your sheets and rooms. This has serious consequences, and the media will be notified. I’m never coming back.

The front desk attendant was welcoming and kind. When I mentioned the wall light needed replacing, he came right away and fixed it. The whole place, from the lobby to our room, seemed very clean. It’s pet friendly, with easy access to a roomy pet area and a poop station. There’s also a small, clean grilling space. We didn’t use the fitness center or laundry area, but both looked clean and adequate. We’d stay again.
