Greenfield Inn and Suites Elizabethtown, KY I65 Exit 94

For more than seven years, this has been my favorite place to stay. I’ve always liked the clean rooms, big tubs and showers, and amazing pool, especially for such an affordable hotel. But on my latest visit, I was accused of smoking in my room, which I didn’t do. I run a small cleaning business, so I know what it takes and costs to remove smoke odors. They returned my security deposit but said I can’t stay there anymore. After so many good visits, that was really disappointing. I believe it was a misunderstanding and would appreciate a chance to clear it up. I’ve always respected the hotel and its policies, and I’d love to stay again.

The person looking after the breakfast room on 10/7/2025 was excellent. She kept busy, paid close attention to things, and made sure the space stayed spotless. The breakfast itself was very good, and the room and hallways were clean. The bed was comfortable, and check-in and checkout were easy too. Those are basic things guests should be able to count on, but plenty of hotels fail at them regardless of price. Greenfield got them right, and I’d stay there again if I’m in the area. I’m not often impressed by hotels, but Greenfield clearly puts effort into keeping customers satisfied.

I’ve been in the area since early August for contract work, and the helpful front desk staff have always been accommodating when I’ve needed anything. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. They’ve made me feel at home while I’m away, which I really appreciate. It’s also a convenient spot, close to the local hospital and interstate, with several restaurants and fuel stations nearby.

I spend more time on the road than I’d like, so I stay in plenty of hotels. This is one of the best affordable ones I’ve found. It was under $100, with free breakfast like what I get at Dennys. They also have old-fashioned video games and a beautiful indoor pool.
